Pacific Forest Products was incorporated in 2002 to trade logs and lumber.

Pacific Forest Products (PFP) was incorporated in 2002 to trade logs and lumber, and also provide marketing and shipping services into the Asia Pacific, Indian and Middle Eastern Markets. Pacific Forest Products is an employee owned company and has a small highly experienced team of 20 staff, with offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Rotorua and Gisborne. We are 100% employee owned which gives us a passion and involvement in the company. Our Key Organisational strategy is to operate a small and experienced team that can achieve a good operating scale and is agile enough to effectively manage the highly dynamic business environment that we operate in.

Our log export volumes are currently running at 3.6 million JASm3 annually, with a stable supply group that includes a number of significant forest owners and management companies. Our export operations are concentrated out of the North Island ports of Marsden Point, Tauranga and Gisborne, and we also ship regularly out of Port Chalmers in the South Island. We also operate periodically out of the majority of other log export ports around New Zealand.

Pacific Forest Products are able to ship to most major ports in Asia, India and the Middle East. We strive to meet our customer’s demands and our scale enables us to ensure a regular, efficient and cost effective shipping service, filling around 10 bulk vessels per month. We charter our own vessels so we have full control on where we send them. Our staff handles all aspects of ship chartering and export documentation in house.
