In August 2009 Pacific Forest Products entered into a marketing agreement with Wenita Forest Products Ltd. PFP are very happy to have Wenita on board and look forward to exporting out of Port Chalmers.

In May 2009 PFP began sourcing logs in Nelson. The first logs were shipped on the Ocean Lotus on the 8th of June. PFP are happy to have added another port to it's operation and are looking forward to increasing production in Nelson

Pacific Forest Products was the winner of the NZ Trade and Enterprise 2006 Export Award for Wood, Building and Interiors Exporter of the Year.

The award in the judges words recognises that "Pacific Forest Product’s rapid growth is brought about by focus and clever management of systems for procurement, transportation and logistics. Its robust management is enhanced by its extensive expertise in forestry.”
