SPS now ships over 5 million tonnes of logs and lumber per year from New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii and Uruguay to the Asia Pacific and Indian markets.

The company also has an office in Portland, Australia to manage the movement of logs from Australia to Asia. SPS ships out of most major ports in New Zealand, predominantly from Marsden Point, Tauranga, Gisborne, Napier, Timaru and Port Chalmers. The company also operates from the Australian ports of Burnie, Bell Bay, Hobart and Portland along with Kawaihae in Hawaii and Montevideo in Uruguay.

SPS charters a range of vessels from Handysize to Supramax and has also chartered project vessels for outbound log voyages.
